First off, thanks for this really cool project! It's something the community really missed 🙂
Looking at the issues and discussions, it's very popular, but they're also all over the place: There's bugs (of course), then there's new integrations with "players" like Kodi, Audiobookshelf and others, there's ideas how it should behave for some media etc.
I'm wondering if it would allow the project and the community to grow better if Yamtrack would be split up into a core and addons/plugins/whatever-you-name-it for each media type. First, people could only install the addons they want (for example, I don't need comics).
But secondly, the addons could be developed separately, with their own issues list and behaviours. Instead of trying to write one software that supports everything, we'd have one platform and several addons that can really focus on their specific media niche.
