The feature

Hello Immich Community, has anyone ever told you how great you are? If so, they were right. That’s why I joined you guys. =D

My idea is to have a button that lets you download multiple face shots of a recognized person. Basically, just square images of their face. Ideally, start with the one with the best resolution and from the front. Then, feel free to add more from different angles. An export button like that would be possible because everything is already there. We all use it in the Immich family.

THEN I could upload this collection to Frigate. That way, the system would recognize the faces of my family members. That would be awesome. Do you get it?

If there’s another way—an API where these two great programs can communicate with each other—that would of course be possible too.

It would be pretty easy to do this through the api with a little script already. Since it seems kind of niche, I don't see a need to build it into the UI. Note that frigate recommends against training with "good" photos, as it's not representative of what it'll actually see.
