Close the tag using an external event

Thank you very much for the librery. It has served me a lot. I have a problem, many times the users do not press ENTER in the tag-input which means that the tag is not generated. How can I generate the tag through an external event?

For example, when they press the magnifying glass button, it automatically closes the tag
