[Bug]: Heltec V3 not discovered on bluetooth scan on newest Samsung Galaxy S25+

Is this bug report about any UI component firmware like InkHUD or Meshtatic UI (MUI)?

• Meshtastic UI aka MUI colorTFT
• InkHUD ePaper
• OLED slide UI on any display

Description

Tested on both latest stable 2.6.4 and latest unstable 2.6.11 firmware.

Windows machine can see and discover healtec on bluetooth, however it is not discoverable by latest Samsung S25+ phone.

Heltec V3 device with newest firmware (both stable and unstable) behavior:

• IS discoverable on Windows, BUT pairing fails, even though popup with PIN appears on Heltec V3 device
• IS NOT discoverable on Android Samsung S25+ phone

There is a known issue with Samsung phones requiring location services to be enabled for the app in order for Bluetooth to work

I see. But your answer is strictly about the APP.

My question is about OS system behavior, when discovering from OS.

In Windows it sees the device, but pairing fails. In Android it does not see the device at all in OS Bluetooth enumeration.

What about normal bluetooth discovery (from System) - this will also NOT list the device? Even though Windows Bluetooth discovery lists the device?
