wsl is running but LxssManager is missing. How is that possible?

WSL is running on my machine:

wsl  -v
WSL version: 2.3.24.0
Kernel version: 5.15.153.1-2
WSLg version: 1.0.65
MSRDC version: 1.2.5620
Direct3D version: 1.611.1-81528511
DXCore version: 10.0.26100.1-240331-1435.ge-release
Windows version: 10.0.26100.2033

wsl -l -v

However, I am not able to find LxssManager:

sc queryex type= service state= all | findstr /i LxssManager

No result is returned !!!

How is this possible?

I have noticed the same and have been running fine for probably over a year. I have a more demanding workload I want to run within, went to update the memory/cpu and restart this service and noticed it was missing. I have looked online to see if replaced, etc but can't find anything saying so.

@AliMoeen: When WSL became its own package, the service name changed from lxssmanager to wslservice. If lxssmanager is available, then the inbox version of WSL is installed. If wslservice is installed, then the packaged version of WSL is running
