Converting Botasaurus Project to .exe – Missing JS File Error

I built a full scraping project with a UI using Botasaurus. However, when I try to convert it to an exe file, I keep encountering this error:

ValueError: The input js file was not found for pdf_scraper_wrapper at path backend/inputs/pdf_scraper_wrapper.js. Kindly create it.

The project runs perfectly using the command python run.py , so I'm not sure what's causing this.

it looks like package.json is what causing the problem cuz It does not exist .. any ideas?

Have you cloned repo and got into directory with

git clone https://github.com/omkarcloud/botasaurus-starter my-botasaurus-desktop-app
cd my-botasaurus-desktop-app

Also, pyinstaller is not supported but bota desktop is.

The issue is that package.json is missing. I cloned the repo multiple times, but it's still not there. Could you send it manually? I'll place it in the correct directory and run npm install to see if it works.

I tried before the pacakge.json file in the repo but unfortunately, it still not working

• download zip file, do npm install in that.
• then update node js use latest version https://nodejs.org/en, if still not works,
  • try an alternative pc. it will work.
