Impossible?!

Hi everyone,

I have tried 40 times with my equipment, but it just isn't working, no matter the camera or mix of documents. I even paid for an official transcript, and an enrollment verification letter. Again and again and again I am declined and the reasons don't correlate with what I am submitting.

• My name on the official transcript matches my billing information
• The official transcript contains the full name of the School
• My official transcript indicates "online division"
• It's winter break AND all of my courses are online

I can't use my dated school ID, because the front only has the logo and the name school name is on the back.

I also tried setting up a new GitHub account to try to address the mysterious complaints about the full name, but it seems to be just the AI agent processing what it sees incorrectly.

I am having the same experience. I cannot even upload documents, only take photos with the webcam and it is automatically denied by AI every time.

That sounds incredibly frustrating, especially after paying for official documents and trying so many times. No one should have to go through 40 attempts just to verify student status.

Since the automated review keeps rejecting you even though your transcript matches your billing info and clearly shows your school name and “online division”, this may be an issue with how the verification system (and its AI checks) is interpreting your documents, not with what you’re submitting.

At this point, the best next step is to contact GitHub Support or GitHub Education directly and reference this discussion, explaining that all requirements are met but the automated flow is still declining you. A human review is likely needed to override the automated denials and confirm your eligibility.

Instead of helping, support tells me to 'merge' the second account which I created in attempt to troubleshoot, but the instructions they provide don't' merge, but delete, so this thread will will be associated with the deleted account.

Do you have some sort of a payment slip or bill you got from the school? That's what worked for me.
