CRITICAL BUG: "Start an application" stuck in infinite redirect loop to /pricing

Hi everyone,

Hello GitHub Education Team,

I am experiencing a persistent GitHub Education redirect loop bug on my account.

When I click "Start an application" from:
https://github.com/settings/education/benefits

GitHub redirects me to:
https://github.com/pricing

Then after selecting "Students and teachers" and clicking "Join GitHub Education", it redirects me back again to the original Education Benefits page instead of opening the student application form.

The application form never opens.

Additional information:

• GitHub username: 0PeterAdel
• University email verified: [231635@csi.edu.eg](mailto:231635@csi.edu.eg)
• I set the university email as my primary email
• This is my only personal GitHub account
• I tested multiple browsers and devices
• I removed and re-added the university email
• I also tried the direct application link
• The issue persists consistently

Reproduction Steps:

1. Open https://github.com/settings/education/benefits
2. Click "Start an application"
3. GitHub redirects to https://github.com/pricing
4. Select "Students and teachers"
5. Click "Join GitHub Education"
6. GitHub redirects back to the Education Benefits page
7. The application form never opens

Permanent - Occurring repeatably

Blocking:

Logs:
I do not currently have browser/network logs, but I attached multiple screenshots showing the redirect loop behavior and the account state.

I already opened a GitHub Support ticket:
https://support.github.com/ticket/personal/0/4368482

However, the ticket was automatically closed twice without resolution or response.

I attached screenshots, the closed ticket screenshot, and student ID verification documents.

This appears to be an account-side GitHub Education application state bug similar to other reported discussions.

Please help escalate or reset the GitHub Education application state on my account.

Thank you for the response.

I would like to confirm that this issue is still actively affecting my account and currently prevents me from accessing the GitHub Education student application form entirely.

I also opened a GitHub Support ticket (#4368482), but it was automatically closed twice without any investigation or response, even though the redirect loop persists.

The issue appears to be an account-side Education application state bug similar to the other reports linked in this discussion.

If any GitHub staff member can help escalate this to the Education/backend team, I would greatly appreciate it.
