Is this a feature for the backend or frontend?

Frontend

What would you like?

Hi Planka team,

first of all, thank you for your great work on this project! I really enjoy using Planka for project management.

However, I’ve noticed that the built-in editor for card descriptions can be quite limiting, especially when working with Markdown tables or more complex formatting. For example, creating tables or structured content can result in unpredictable formatting or display issues.

Feature request:
Would it be possible to add an option to use a more advanced editor for card descriptions?
This could be either:

A richer Markdown editor (with better table support)

Or a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor like TipTap, Quill, or similar

Why is this needed?

More comfortable editing of tables, lists, and other formatted content

Better user experience for documentation and structured notes within cards

If there are any workarounds or plugins that you can recommend, I’d also appreciate any tips.

Thank you very much for considering this improvement!
Best regards,
Andy

Hey 👋

We've already changed the editor, and it's going to be perfect in v2! We're trying to release the new version soon.
