Problem loading old .exe files into UTM Windows XP on m4 iMac

I had no problem installing Windows XP plus 'UTM guest tools' but I cannot find a way to load my old .exe apps into XP.
I tried to create an ISO file via 'Terminal' many times using text from Internet but they all failed (too many arguments) and I could not find a way to create a shared folder in UTM/XP.
I am fairly computer literate but I am stuck right now and any help would be much appreciated.
