'unreachable' error using gltfpack

I've recently encountered a problem with using the gltfpack CLI on a particular model where I just get back an 'unreachable' error. Using the verbose option doesn't give any further info and it seems to run for a decent bit of time before giving me the message. Has anyone else encountered this/know what I could be doing wrong?

Can you share the model in question, as well as the full error output?

Thanks for responding so quickly! I am not sure I can share the model at this time but I'll see if I can anonymise and send it. The error output was just the word 'unreachable', nothing else.

Assuming you are using gltfpack from npm, I'm wondering if this is due to the model being large enough that it runs into WebAssembly memory limit; not sure what the error message should be in that case. If you are using gltfpack from npm you could try using native builds (available at the bottom of https://github.com/zeux/meshoptimizer/releases/tag/v0.23)

This definitely could be the case, as the model is probably the largest I've had to work with so far. I'll give that a try and let you know. Thanks!

Unfortunately I get the same error using the native build. I understand without seeing the model, you are limited in what you can advise, but is there a particular condition/reason in the codebase where it outputs 'unreachable'?

This is not an explicit condition anywhere; I would need to debug the model in question to understand what’s happening. I also checked the Linux binary at least and it has no 'unreachable' strings anywhere, so this would need to come from somewhere outside of the binary like glibc or thereabouts.
