TrafficMonitor.sys [original name: WinRing0.sys] is created as soon as TrafficMonitor starts and removed whenever the App is closed. (Weird behaviour!)
VirusTotal file analysis reports a score of 4/72 with a serious driver Vulnerability detected by MS Defender (driver dated 2008 is very old and unsafe).
The sandbox Dr.Web vxCube flags this file as: MALWARE !!!!

This App can run smoothly by disabling any Network traffic to the exe, the dlls & sys file.
Moreover, I locked access to the IPs 205.185.216.10 & 51.124.78.146

The Devs should explain this and why keep using the masked and unsecure WinRing0.sys for Hw monitoring. Thks

TrafficMonitor.sys is created by LibreHardwareMonitor. LibreHardwareMonitor is a third party library. If you don't trust this file, turn off the hardware monitor function, or use the Lite version instead.

Totally unacceptable, it was a great tool to monitor i have found but this happened. i really respect the developer but feeling very sad about it. @zhongyang219

Being a US citizen I automatically suspect any software that the Chinese government might use to for spying. So, if there are security alerts I avoid the software. I did the same for FanControl until the issue was fixed. The issue here might be the same as was for FanControl where some ancient unsigned stuff had to be fixed. The poor dev has to do a lot of work to fix this sort of thing. It has to be fun because the dev does it for free?
