Hello, World! I'm Mikhail 👋

Security Operations Engineer building and running an enterprise security program end-to-end as the sole security function owner at a US-based B2B SaaS company - covering security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, identity and access management, compliance (ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2 Type 2), and security policy development across AWS cloud infrastructure and corporate environments.

Background in full-stack software development (TypeScript, Angular, Nest.js) and fintech risk management (AML/KYC), with hands-on experience across cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Terraform, Ansible), networking (VLAN segmentation, VPN architecture, DNS/DNSSEC, firewall configuration), and security tooling (XDR, SIEM, MDM, vulnerability scanners). I write Python for security automation and internal tooling.

Currently pursuing a Master's in Artificial Intelligence at AGH University of Krakow, with thesis research on medical image segmentation.
