Is LXC/LXD and Linux Developer compiled in?

Hello,

I am exploring ChromiumOS based systems to include vanilla ChromiumOS, FydeOS (OpenFydeOS), Wayne OS, and now your ThoriumOS.

Since I currently use your Thorium browser now and seem to like it a lot as it is De-Googlefied, I wanted to explore your ThoriumOS and maybe discuss some things with you about what I have in mind towards is possible use.

One thing that I really need to be able to do is to use LXC/LXD containers to start up some local services like web-server, NAS, and a few other items as well.

I could not determine how to do that with your ThoriumOS version, but understand that you are using OpenFyde which I think is capable of doing it as well.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to discussing things with you more if you have a contact email.

It seems like LXC/LXD is compiled in to the build, but it turns out that you cannot enable it after booting because the disk space that ThoriumOS allocates in the partitions on the USB do not allow for enough space even if you have a much larger USB, then it still will not work for some reason.

Can you please provide a complete set up build instructions that are known to work so that I can try to build everything from scratch since your listed build instructions do not seem to work, or I am interpreting them incorrectly in their usage on my Ubuntu 24.04 (x64) system?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
