Description
SCF includes custom wp-admin screens beyond standard listing and editing pages, such as tools for import/export, which are currently built with legacy approaches like Meta Boxes. With WordPress core moving toward a comprehensive design system and modern component library, there is an opportunity for SCF to prototype next-generation admin pages using @wordpress/components and core design principles. This will help ensure consistency, usability, and maintainability as WordPress evolves.
As an exploration, this is the lowest priority item in the roadmap, not only because of its effort/impact ratio but because of the slowdown in core contributions and major releases.
