how to add a name field to the ui-select directive

On Submission of form cant do things like

form.xyz.value Where xyz is the ui-select field

Sorry If this has been answered before.. , Could not find a clear solution to this

Perhaps this request, and others of this nature, would best be served with a behavior that transfers all attributes from the directive to the generated control. Excluding directive specific attributes (e.g., ng-model, multiple, close-on-select, etc.).

Example

<ui-select name="foo"
           bar="baz"
           class="form-control"
           ng-model="my.model"
           multiple
           close-on-select="false">
</ui-select>

Generates:

<input type="search"
       name="foo"
       bar="baz"
       class="ui-select-search form-control"
       ...
       ng-model="$select.search"
       ondrop="return false;">

We'd probably want to append the class attribute's values...
