Add ability to collect metrics to a file

Would it be possible to collect the metrics and save them to a file instead of just printing them to the console?

For sure. Would need a tiny bit of refactoring, a config to specify wheter to log to file or to terminal or both. Are you interested in contributing? This is relatively easy to implmenet.

I would have loved to but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get to it.

If you can guide me on what are (roughly) the changes/files needed for this it'd be really helpful

Whenever you have time. There are only 3 files in this plugin, really simple at the moment. You would start in plugin.ts registerDurationMetricsPlugin‎ function.
