Description
What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?
So by default, When you hide a folder in Files, it only hides the folder but what if you want to hide the folder, the subfolders & the files than in the folder so I'm proposing something; either when you click the "Hidden" attributes it will pop up the legacy menu "How would you like your folder to be hidden"...
I'm referring to this:
Or we could make a new pop up menu that basically just the legacy pop up menu but it polished, modern and align with Files design...
it will look something like this:
But it use the WinUI 3 design instead (You know what I mean).
Requirements
1- Identify the "Hidden" Attribute:
- Open Files and navigate to the folder you want to hide.
- Right-click on the folder and select "Properties."
- In the Properties window, locate the "Attributes" section.
2- Choose the Hiding Option:
Option 1: Legacy Menu:
- Tick the "Hidden" checkbox.
- A pop-up menu will appear asking how you want the folder to be hidden.
- There would be two options:
a. Hide the folder, subfolders, and files.
b. Hide the folder only.
Option 2: New Pop-up Menu:
- Tick the "Hidden" checkbox.
- A modern, polished pop-up menu will appear with the following options:
a. Hide only this folder.
b. Hide this folder, subfolders, and files.
