This PR implements a Heart Disease Detection model to address Issue #211.

Implementation

  • Project 011: Heart Disease Detection using Random Forest and KNN
  • Compares Random Forest Classifier vs K-Nearest Neighbors
  • Includes 5-fold cross-validation for robust evaluation
  • Generates synthetic heart disease dataset with 13 medical features
  • Provides feature importance analysis

Results

  • KNN achieved 99% accuracy
  • Random Forest achieved 98% accuracy
  • Cross-validation confirms model stability
  • Most important features: cholesterol, ca, thal, exercise_angina
