If we backport this one we should probably add #10165 (only needs an approval to be merged :p) and possibly bundle the two PR in one backport as they are somewhat related

Good catch - I think #10192 adds the ability to install PyYaml for Flatcar via pip while #10165 installs PyYaml for the other Operating Systems via their package manager!?
