They all use the YVR Compass card? If so, the only thing that can be done would be to port the parser from Metrodroid which would enable just the card number to be read.

Sadly not at this stage; you can, however, opt to purchase a Compass Mini or Compass Wristband at the TransLink Customer Service Centre at Waterfront Station if you find those form factors to be more convenient for you.
