Textmate doesn't understand python typehints

Though semantic token highlighting is able to pick up some elements from quoted type annotations, overall string is not marked as a typeHint:

Ideally, it would be nice to have the same scopes for quoted typehints as a regular ones, but with a proper "typeHint" modifier:

@Bobronium is there a reason that you want the textmate scope to reflect that it's a typehint instead of the semantic token?

@alexr00, good question! Essentially I'm coming from the point that typehints have their own syntax.

Semantic token surely can add context to expression in that syntax, like saying if something is a builtin type or not, which it already does.

But from my perspective, dealing with plain syntax should be in textmate scope.

I assume you also have the python extension installed and that's where the semantic tokens are coming from.

We get our python grammar from https://github.com/MagicStack/MagicPython, which hasn't seen a lot of activity recently. While I would agree that typehints would ideally be supported in the grammar, the owners of the python extension likely took a pragmatic approach and added the sematic tokens so that the functionality would exist at all.

MagicStack/MagicPython#183 and MagicStack/MagicPython#229 are the upstream issues for this.
