Preserve calendar name when importing from link

When creating a new calendar using the "New subscription from link (read-only)" in a target Nextcloud instance and the origin calendar has been exported from another Nextcloud instance via subscription link (I didn't try with other systems, but the behaviour should be similar), the name of the calendar is not preserved. Instead, the name of the calendar in the target instance is named as the origin Nextcloud instance.

If the same calendar is imported in Thunderbird, the name is correctly preserved.

Describe the solution you'd like

I'd like to have the name of the calendar preserved, as it happens in another major CalDAV client, such as Thunderbird.

The user can always rename the calendar in his/her instance, but it would be great to preserve as default name the name assigned by the calendar creator.

Unfortunately, this is not possible, subscribed calendars are ICS files, which do not contain the calendar information. But starting in NC32 you can use calendar federation to share calendars between instance of NC, this preserves the name.

I have noticed the following:

(Copy public link button) - https://my.cloud.com/apps/calendar/p/Jm9FCKaZqKpFGxeP => name not preserved
(Copy subscription link) - https://my.cloud.com/remote.php/dav/public-calendars/Jm9FCKaZqKpFGxeP?export => name preserved in thunderbird

While in Nextcloud the name is not preserved in any case.

Besides that, is there any reason to have two different links generated?

Fantastic point about federation! However in some cases the public link is still makes sense, I'd say for example when you want to hide the identity of the calendar owner.
