Hello everyone, I've been working to fix a whole lot of accessibility issues our websites had but then I had a couple of problems while using NVDA in my test/development cycle and I was wondering if someone could help me out. I couldn't get it to focus on firefox/chrome only, so every time I went back to code (I usually dev with nvim on Windows Terminal) or Teams, it would start reading the whole thing. I usually used Insert+S to stop it from reading the text on screen, but it would still be parsing stuff on background, which is fine most of the time, but sometimes I would scroll through a huge amount of code and it would lag start lagging my window and inputs. Is there a keybinding to fully turn off NVDA for a bit without quitting the application? If not, is it possible to make it at least focus on a single application? Thanks in advance |

Also, I'd be very happy if someone could point me out towards some tools to help me automate some tests to avoid regressions. |

Try sleep mode. In the desktop keyboard layout it's NVDA+Shift+S, and in the laptop keyboard layout it's NVDA+Shift+Z. This will disable NVDA until you press it again. |
