Same Discussion Chats are keep disappearing in seconds in claude 3.7 thinking model #155163

Copilot Claude3.7 thinkingWhy My chats and code of my conversation are deleteing by itself? BodyChat history in GitHub Copilot conversations is disappearing automatically when new responses are generated, causing loss of important code snippets and conversation context. Previous responses and code snippets within the same conversation thread are being deleted when new responses are generated. This results in both AI assistants (Copilot and Claude 3.7) appearing to "forget" the context of ongoing conversations. |

That is really frustrating, especially when you rely on saved code snippets. Hopefully, they’ll patch this soon losing context like that can totally break workflow. Meanwhile, backing up important parts manually might help avoid surprises https://mepcobillchk.pk/mepco-bill-payment/. |

The AI model quality is the best on the market, but everything else related to Claude feels like it was made by Temu or written by AI. The website and the desktop app is very buggy. |

When a prompt is typed a response occurs but within seconds the prompt and response completely disappears! This has been occuring consistenly for week or more and currently with every query. The recommended user side recommendation do not resolve the issue. Has the content window closed? Is memory gone? Your thoughts are welcome. |

Interestingly this issue went away almost completely for me a couple of weeks ago but was instantly replaced by another issue: the Claude Desktop app needs to be in focus (not in the background) to do any work when using MCPs. As soon as I focus on something else it stops working and (usually) resumes again when gaining focus again. |

I managed once but yeah they have about one real support person per million
customers or something. Got to love silicon valley style

You can probably cancel it if you state this issue.
I would but the get help link seems to be conveniently broken. Which
apparently is the only way to request a refund. They also say no refunds.
Maybe a credit card charge back.

Still experiencing this issue on Claude Desktop 0.14.10 (Linux) with a single MCP server (Desktop Commander 0.2.28). Log analysis from
Behavior: Responses disappear immediately after completion, conversation rolls back to previous state. More frequent during longer conversations with multiple MCP tool calls. Environment:
The Six months without a fix for a core functionality issue is frustrating for paying customers. |

Try look into these ways:
Common Causes for Claude Desktop/MCP Crashes:
Resource Exhaustion (Memory/CPU): MCP can be resource-intensive, especially when processing large files or complex tasks. If your system runs out of memory or CPU during the generation process, Claude Desktop might crash to prevent system instability. This would explain why it happens more often after a period of inactivity (resources might be less optimized).
MCP Server Issues: The MCP server (e.g., filesystem-mcp) might be crashing or disconnecting prematurely. Claude Desktop relies on this server for local file access and other functionalities. If the server crashes, Claude Desktop might lose its connection and exit.
