This project replicates the futuristic hand gesture interface seen in the movie Minority Report, where the main character interacts with holographic windows using hand motions. Utilizing OpenCV, this emulator tracks hand movements and translates them into cursor movements on the screen, allowing users to navigate a virtual interface.
The project aims to create an interactive experience by utilizing computer vision techniques to recognize hand gestures. Users can move their hands to control a cursor and interact with virtual windows, mimicking the technology depicted in Minority Report.

To run this project, you need:
- Python 3.x

You can install the required Python libraries using pip:

- Erosion and Dilation: To preprocess the captured video frames for better contour detection.
- Contour Detection: To identify the hand gestures by analyzing the shapes of detected contours.
- MOG2 Background Subtraction: To separate the moving hand from the static background, allowing for better gesture recognition.
- Bitwise Operations: To create masks for the tracked hand, enabling effective gesture recognition and cursor movement.
The combination of these techniques allows the program to accurately detect hand movements and translate them into cursor actions on the screen.
