I tried this on Firefox and couldn't reproduce, so it might be something specific about chrome webgl?

Expected Behavior

Scratch Cat, the default sprite, should always look the same when opening a new project.

Actual Behavior

Reported by Saskia during Catch Game internal playtest (6/2/17).

Scratch Cat's foot (paw?) looks weird upon opening the editor.

This was right after opening the gui; she hadn't done anything with the project yet. Zoom was set to 100%.

This happens to me on my monitor. It seems to have something to do with the
sampling rate; as you move the sprite around it doubles up different lines.

I believe this is related to #179: if I remove this block of code then my cat's legs look fine:

I suspect it's a mismatch between the resolution that the SVG is rasterized at and the size of the quad it's rendered with, but I don't currently see where the problem sneaks in. I just ran across this discovery while troubleshooting a different rendering issue so I figured I'd make a note of it :)

Enabling bilinear filtering helps to hide the issue but it's still noticeable if you look carefully...

I have seen a rendering issue when I was editing the scratch cat costume. I simply added a red Square behind his head and in the project player window his right eye pupil corrupted. Moving the square away returned it to normal, and moving it back re-corrupted it. Note it was not corrupted in the editor view. The corruption was kind of a doubling of the pupil, or a slight splitting horizontally.

The "kink" in the cat moving around as the sprite is edited
